Ainsdale Update

Weekend 6th and 7th June 2009

The wind zone on the beach is closed until TUESDAY 9th JUNE.  This has been caused by the need for vehicles to use the beach to remove some rubble that has occured on the beach due to errosion.  The works should be complete by the end of Tuesday and at the moment, we understand the wind zone will then re-open

WARNING for July and August

There will be a film set in the wind zone during July and August, dates are not yet known and it isn't currently expected that this will close the wind zone, but users will need to be aware of the obstruction.  It will be in the wind zone next to the pedestrian area (so by the posts just in from the sand dunes).  Please take care.
