BLOKART BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS - ROUND ONE (BBC R1) - AINSDALESummary:Press day on Friday 27th June. If you are intending to sail on the Friday an Ainsdale Beach Permit is required in advance. Please follow this link or the link from the Events page of this website to download the forms and information on how to obtain one (free of charge). Racing on Saturday 28th and 29th June. All entrants need to be a member of the BLSA and have to enter through www.theblsa.com. Entry is now open, so get clicking! Location:Ainsdale beach is just south of Southport. The beach car park is at the end of Shore Road, just past Pontins. Car parking is available on the beach, charged at £3 per day per vehicle. Click here for link to Google Map showing location Racing:Racing will be held on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June. Start times, notice of race and other information to follow shortly. Saturday Night:Saturday night there will be an event meal (price included in entry). Any additional tickets need to be requested at entry. It is to be held at the Scarisbrick Hotel, Lord Street, Southport, PR8 1NZ. Accomodation:A number of rooms have been reserved for Blokarters at the Scarisbrick Hotel at a reduction of 20% off the room rate. These will be held by the Hotel until 26th May after which, the reduction will still apply as long as they have room availability!
